Learn How Hybrid IVUS–OCT Imaging is Transforming Coronary Artery Disease Visualization
GRG Health engaged 50 interventional cardiologists and vascular radiologists and analyzed 926 co-registered IVUS–OCT frames across interventional settings. The findings exposed key gaps in standalone IVUS or OCT, which often miss aspects of plaque morphology and vessel architecture needed for confident decision-making. Clinicians emphasized growing demand for better plaque characterization, diagnostic clarity, and streamlined workflows during coronary interventions. Hybrid IVUS–OCT imaging addressed these needs by combining IVUS depth with OCT resolution, improving interpretation of complex lesions and enabling more precise treatment planning. These insights are now informing MedTech innovation to enhance usability, imaging accuracy, and precision cardiovascular care.
