Contactless Patient Monitoring in Indian Hospitals: 70 Frontline Conversations, Including a Nurse Time-Motion Study

A client assessing the market for contactless patient monitors in India's Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities needed adoption drivers from the people who live with the devices: what drives needs among current users and non-users, the strengths and weaknesses of adopted technology, and the uptake potential of the new approach.

We conducted 70 in-depth discussions of 30–45 minutes with general ward nurses, head nurses, anaesthesiologists, and medical directors — and ran a time-motion study of nurses' daily activity to ground the workflow case.

Recruitment to final raw data: four and a half weeks.

Adoption lives or dies at the bedside. That's where we asked. Talk to our team.
