Inside the NSCLC Testing Paradigm: EU5 Oncologists on Biopsy Dynamics, MET Testing, and a New Product Profile

A pharmaceutical client preparing its next move in non-small cell lung cancer needed more than a literature view. It needed practicing oncologists to walk through what actually happens when a patient progresses on a third-generation EGFR TKI — and to react to a product profile against the treatment options they use today.

We fielded a hybrid screenshare quantitative study: 25 surveys of 60 minutes each with oncologists across the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, and France. The screenshare format let respondents work through the product profile live, question by question, rather than clicking through it alone.

The study covered the current testing paradigm post-TKI progression and how it evolves over the next two to three years, biopsy dynamics and barriers by patient type, the MET testing landscape — rates, modalities, locations — and structured feedback on the client's product profile.

Recruitment to final raw data: five weeks. Every respondent verified through our six-layer framework before their first answer.

This is what launch-readiness research looks like when the field does the talking. Facing a similar decision? Talk to our team.
